Our Services

We believe in walking alongside people during life’s unexpected challenges. Through the generosity of those around the River Region community, In Christ’s Way provides one-time financial assistance to help individuals and families who have experienced an unavoidable crisis and need short-term support with bills.

Applicant Guidelines

  • Reside in or around the River Region (Montgomery County, Alabama and surrounding counties)
  • Have not previously received financial assistance from In Christ’s Way
  • All adults (18+) in the household must be employed full time in stable jobs that provide consistent income
  • This ministry is designed to help during a temporary hardship, not long-term financial hardships
  • The need for assistance is the result of an unexpected crisis beyond your control that has affected your ability to pay this month’s bills
  • You will be able to pay your own bills moving forward
  • You are not currently in the process of eviction

**Submitting an application with In Christ’s Way does not guarantee financial assistance. Due to limited resources, only applications that meet our program guidelines can be considered; however, every qualifying request is carefully and prayerfully reviewed.**
